One of the results of the recent surge of research on volunteering is that
it is now possible to find information about aspects of volunteering that were
largely invisible twenty years ago. A prime example of this is volunteering
among Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender populations.
This issue of “Along the Web” will look at some of the Internet
resources for GLBT volunteering, divided into:
- research on volunteering by GLBT populations
- examples of volunteer management materials for GLBT populations
- other stuff of possible interest related to GLBT volunteering
