in a variety of locations around the state. Members volunteer to host
the meetings.

Serves all of Florida - Florida Association of Volunteers Centers (FAVC)
FAVC is a vital association that provides a network of support and professional development to the leaders of Florida’s Volunteer Centers. Through quarterly meetings, FAVC members discuss new opportunities for volunteers, professional development and grant opportunities for volunteer leaders, as well as share best practices to ensure that Florida’s volunteers have the best possible volunteer experience.

Meets the 4th Tuesday bimonthly beginning in January at various
locations 11:30 am-1:00 pm. Provides professional development for
volunteer managers and coordinators in agencies. Annual workshops

is $20.

Serves Tampa, Florida and surrounding communities in Hillsborough
County - HAVC (Hillsborough Association for Volunteer Coordination)
HAVC meets on the second Tuesday of every month from 11:30am until
1pm., usually at different agency locations. Our membership includes
volunteer coordinators from Lowry Park Zoo, MOSI,Metropolitan Ministries,
American Red Cross, The Crisis Center, Florida Blood Services, The
Volunteer Center, RSVP, Phone Friend, SERVE, Meals on Wheels, The
Spring of Tampa Bay, MacDonald Training Center and others. HAVC
improves the quality of volunteer management by developing professional
skills, providing training, networking opportunities and professional
standards to those in volunteer management.
