Serves Central Arizona - Association of Volunteer Administration of Central Arizona
Meetins are held on the second Thursday of the month at Maricopa Medical Center, Phoenix. Meetings start at 8:00 am with networking and refreshments. Programs start at 8:30 and business meeting is from 9:15 to 10:00. No meetings in the summer months. This year's focus is on "The 7 Habits of Highly Successful Volunteer Managers." Meetings held on the first Thursday of the month at the Salvation Army HQ 27th Street and Van Buren, Phoenix. Meets the 2nd Thursday of each month, except summer months (June - Aug) We are recruiting and growing, as our area has a tremendous number of non-profits and other organizations which utilize volunteers. Professional growth, networking are our focus. We hold an annual recognition dinner in April which is our biggest event of the year, and are sponsoring numerous workshops for our members professional development.
