This is a 10 week, 2 credit points course on volunteer administration. It focuses on the field of volunteers in health care and recreation. It is part of the elective curriculum of the social service professional school (institute of higher education) and is open for people from outside the school. Topics in class include: who is a volunteer? Why people volunteer? The volunteer management approach. Management of diversity. Paid staff and volunteers. Connecting to other organizations.
