Australia

Australia has an extensive network of active regional Volunteer Centers as well as other volunteerism resources. The following is a site listing all Australian contacts in one place. www.volunteeringaustralia.org

New Zealand

Serves Greater Wellington Region including Hutt Valley and Porirua, New Zealand - Volunteer Wellington
Volunteer Wellington operates as a "personnel department" for non-profit agencies, assisting them in securing the time and talents of volunteers. Volunteer Wellington places individuals in voluntary positions that provide opportunities for work experience, gaining new skills, making new contacts and the chance to make a difference in the community. Volunteer Wellington provides training in management of volunteers, organises network forums for managers of volunteers and offers an advice and consultancy service in the establishment of volunteer programmes. In addition we facilitate corporate volunteering to promote business involvement in the community to foster a more civil society.
